I adore being behind the camera capturing great imagery! It's often the little details that make a photograph truly exceptional. I love capturing those small, beautiful moments that result in images that resonate with depth and authenticity.
I started shooting film at 16, and soon started spending all my free time in the darkroom. I loved every moment making magic as the image appeared on the paper. To this day, the smell of developer gets my creativity going. I’ve translated this love into a career that allows me to create for a living!
During my academic years my active use of yoga helped me immensely mentally and physically to be able to function at my best. I started doing yoga when I was 16 and over my 20 years doing yoga, it has become a stable love affair in my life! It is my second and equal passion to help people move and heal their own bodies through holistic means.
I realized these two simultaneous careers helped me express the entirety of who I am! So from crazy and whimsical imagery created in cool locations, to teaching a funky yoga flow, I find I am at my best and most beneficial to my clients when I am offering both of these services; When I honor both sides of who I am.
You will find that though I can sometimes be rather silly during your shoot or yoga class, I am serious about quality work and great customer service to both my photography and wellness clients. I am a picky client myself, so I welcome detail oriented clients who expect the best!
I feel like this is my work. My quiet life’s purpose to do for my time here. I hope to impact people with the world through my eyes, and introduce them to the raw creative beauty in this world we live and within ourselves.
My Philosophy on Photography
My photo work is organic, not overly handled or processed. Photoshop is used to enhance, not severely alter your images. I want to get it right behind the camera and not have to fix it at my computer if I can help it. Visual distractions and imperfections are fixed before I click the shutter whenever possible.
I shoot mostly on location because it offers a different shoot EVERY TIME, which allows each client to get a unique shoot. I am always on the lookout for new locations, peaking my creativity so I can infuse that into each shoot. Your own backyard, public park, carnival, bowling alley, or your favorite coffeeshop are the best places to capture genuine emotion which makes for better imagery. (I do also have full studio equipment, so if this is something you need, I can create a studio nearly anywhere, including your living room if need be.)

My goal is to get your beautifully edited photos to you as soon as possible. On average, you can expect to receive your final images within 2-3 weeks after your session.
